Today the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys announced that back rower Scott Bolton had extended his agreement with the club until the end of season 2009.

The hard running 20-year-old Innisfail product has gradually made his mark at the Cowboys, starting in the Young Guns squad and now stepping up to the first grade arena.

"The Toyota Cowboys see Scott as an important part of our future. He is a local junior who has developed through our system over the past few years. We are excited by his potential and delighted that he has decided to remain with the club," North Queensland CEO Peter Parr said.

Bolton will start from the bench for the Toyota Cowboys when they take on the Roosters this Saturday at Aussie Stadium kick off 7.30pm.
