The Sydney Roosters have officially signed disgruntled Bulldog Nick Kouparitsas with no confusion over his departure this time.
Kouparitsas has been trying to get a release from the Bulldogs for several weeks and the Roosters were believed to have had him signed prior to the round 4 clash against Parramatta only for the Bulldogs to pull out of the deal.
The Roosters and Kouparitsas came forward to the Bulldogs earlier in the week where an agreed settlement between all parties was reached.
Kouparitsas has been struggling for form and attitude this season and is hoping his move to the Roosters alongside his 'mates' Willie Mason, Mark O'Meley and Nate Myles will help him find his best form.
Roosters recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan said, "He is a high quality person with a great work ethic.
"He will fit in well with our squad and already has a good combination with Mark O'Meley from his time at the Bulldogs."
Kouparitsas is expected to line up for the Newtown Jets in the NSW Cup this weekend with a view of playing first grade the following week.
Meanwhile, Brent Crisp won't be leaving the Bulldogs and hasn't requested a release at this stage with reports last night linking him with a switch to Manly to fill the void at fullback left by the 8-12 week injury to Brett Stewart.
Crisp was the only player not in the 17 for Sunday's clash against the Wests Tigers at training this morning where he spent at least 30 minutes doing goal kicking practice with former Bulldogs super-boot Daryl Halligan.
