Source: www.bradfordbulls.co.ukWayne Godwin has committed his future to Bradford Bulls and has signed a three year contract that will keep him at the Grattan Stadium until the end of 2011
Godwin joined the Bulls at the start of the year from Hull and has missed only one game this season. He was previously with Wigan and Castleford.
Godwin is delighted to have his future sorted out:
"I just wanted to get back to enjoying my rugby again while proving to Macca and Bradford what I'm all about. For whatever reason, it's just not worked out at my last two clubs over the last couple of years and I wanted to get settled and stay at a place where I'm happy and I couldn't be happier than I am here. The Bulls have given me a three-year extension so hopefully I've started to show what I can do and it's great to sort my long-term future. I feel there's a lot more to come from me yet. I want to take my game to the next level and feel I can do that with Bradford because of Steve McNamara and the coaches we have here.
Bulls Coach Steve McNamara said today:
"We're delighted. Wayne came here initially for 12 months with a view to seeing if he liked us and we liked him but he's been everything we could have asked for. His attitude to training, in games and off the field is just first class, his form's been good and we think Wayne's best football is still ahead of him so it's great we've got him for another three years."
