Catalan Dragons will meet Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in a pre-season testimonial match for former player Jerome Guisset.
The Dragons will take on the new-look Wildcats at Gilbert Brutus Stadium on Saturday, January 14, before playing London Broncos in a second friendly at the same Perpignan venue a week later.
"I'm looking forward to playing Wakefield," said Catalan coach Trent Robinson. "It will be a great test for our first match and a great day for the Catalans with the testimonial of Jerome."
The testimonial match will be preceded by a curtain-raiser featuring a host of ex-France internationals and former Dragons players including Alex Chan, Justin Murphy, John Wilson, Adel Fellous, Laurent Frayssinous and Mathieu Griffi.
Guisset, now assistant coach to Robinson, began his career with Perpignan club St Esteve and also played for Canberra Raiders, Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors before finishing with the Dragons at the end of the 2010 season.

The Dragons have had a disappointing season but managed a 29-28 victory over high-flying Warrington last weekend, a result Guisset knows it won't be easy to repeat.
"I don't think we can read too much into the previous result. We are playing the same team, but Super League is so different to the Challenge Cup," said Guisset.
"It was important for us to win the Super League game but I don't think it's going to have any bearing on the result of the Challenge Cup semi-final.
"We have had a lot of injuries and inconsistencies this season and we haven't performed as well as we had hoped, so to reach the Challenge Cup semi-final is a massive achievement."
Guisset was part of the Dragons team beaten by St Helens in the 2007 Carnegie Challenge Cup final and is hoping for a better outcome this year.
"The Challenge Cup is sensational," said Guisset. "Everyone respects the tradition and history of the competition and for any Rugby League player it is a massive achievement to get to Wembley and an even bigger one to win at Wembley.
"We are hoping to go one better this year.
"Warrington are the Challenge Cup holders so I don't think they will be wanting to let that go. They will be fired up to win the semi-final but it's up to us to play our best and try to cause an upset.
"We are only 80 minutes from reaching the final in a 90,000 capacity stadium so we are going to give it our all to make sure we get there."
