Source: www.parraeels.com.auThe Pirtek Parramatta Eels have secured the services of three young talented backrowers in New Zealander Weller Hauraki and Toyota Cup players Tim Robinson and David Baumann.
Weller Hauraki who made his NRL debut in 2007 has played in eleven NRL matches so far in season 2008.
Weller, who turned 23 earlier this year, is a strong running backrower who has been at the Parramatta Club since 2003 and starred in the 2007 NSWRL Premier League Grand Final scoring the winning try on full-time.
"I always wanted to stay at Parramatta and I'm very happy to have my future for the next two seasons sorted out," Hauraki said.
"The team is starting to find some good from and I'm enjoying my football.
"The Club has been good to me and I'm looking forward to being part of successful Parramatta teams in the years ahead."
The Parramatta Eels beat several Clubs in the race to sign young Toyota Cup players Tim Robinson and David Baumann. Whilst Tim and David are yet to play NRL both backrowers who turned 20 this year are talented, hard working forwards and are the latest players who are emerging from the successful Parramatta development program.
Michael Hagan said the re-signing of Hauraki, Robinson and Bauman was important for the club.
"Weller continues to improve and will get better over the next few seasons. Weller has a good opportunity ahead of him and I'm looking forward to him forming a strong backrow partnership with some of our senior players.
"The retention of both Tim and David is very pleasing and both boys will push for First Grade spots in the future."

The players involved have this afternoon given witness statements to NSW Police and are cooperating fully with all enquiries.
The club is disappointed that a number of its contracted players were in Kings Cross in the early hours of the morning and will be conducting its own enquiries into the matter and the circumstances leading up to it.
As the matter is currently the subject of a Police investigation no further comment will be made at this time.
