"They've been the best team for the last couple of years and they deserve to be favourites in most games they play," Coach Stone said of the Dragons.
"Our team's come up alright, obviously we've got a few changes in there.
"Joel Edwards wins a spot and he will come in at number 13 which is a good reward for him.
"Marvin Karawana comes onto our bench and adds a little bit of flexibility."
Captain Kurt Gidley will partner Jarrod Mullen in the halves with Wes Naiqama moving to fullback to accommodate the return of veteran Adam MacDougall.
Injured players from Sunday's loss to the Sea Eagles: Beau Henry (ankle), Ben Rogers (shoulder) and Cameron Ciraldo (chest) face extended periods on the sideline.
Stone is hoping for a big crowd at the redeveloped Ausgrid Stadium for the Sunday afternoon encounter.
"It's a massive boost to be back at home and we encourage all the supporters to come down and get involved in the festivities at our first home game this year."
