Source: www.broncos.com.auOn the back of his selection in the NRL Academic Team of the Year, Broncos prop Nick Kenny has been announced as a Queensland Ambassador for National Skills Week.
Nick will be part of the Queensland launch of National Skills Week this Tuesday at 12pm in Reddacliff Place at the top of the Queen Street Mall.
This free public event will feature hands-on trade displays to allow people to test their skills. Industry and training specialists will also be on hand to provide advice on pathways into skilled careers in Queensland's growth industries.
National Skills Week, which runs from 1-8 October, is about recognising the importance of skills and training, and raising awareness of the rewarding opportunities available in skilled and trade careers.
National Skills Week events and activities will be held across Queensland throughout the week.

Source: www.broncos.com.auNICK Kenny has earned a place back in the WOW Brisbane Broncos squad for the big trip to Auckland this Friday night.
After missing round 23 with an injury, Kenny took his medicine and went back to the Queensland Cup last week to link with the Central Comets.
Kenny is from Rockhampton, the base of the Comets.
His strong play in the Comets' surprise 22-18 win over Tweed Heads Seagulls at Browne Park has done enough to convince Broncos coach Ivan Henjak he is ready to go back to the NRL.
His spot in jersey number 18 is the only addition to the team beaten by Newcastle last week, with Darren Lockyer still missing with a rib injury.
