Amongst those set to earn their first cap for the national side are the Harlequins RL duo of Chris Melling and Paul Sykes, Bradford Bulls forward pairing of Andy Lynch and Jamie Langley and Salford City Reds' Andrew Coley.
Stephen Wild, Rob Burrow, James Roby, and Jon Wilkin will also start a Test Match for the first time having previously won caps as interchanges.
Adrian Morley will captain the side that will see Leeds Rhinos' Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow link up at half-back.

Great Britain coach Tony Smith said:
"This is a really strong side and the perfect opportunity for a number of these players to stake their claim for a place in the squad for this autumn's Gillette Fusion Test Series against New Zealand. As a group we're all very excited as this is a new beginning not only for the players but the coaching staff who, you could say, are all making their international debuts as well.
"As I expect the French to be really tough in the forwards I've gone for quite a big, but mobile pack. This is supported by a very energetic bench to ensure that we can maintain our intensity in the match for the full 80 minutes."Smith is also keen to point out that those who have not made the 18 man squad should not feel too disappointed.
"Should those not in the squad continue their good club form between now and the end of the season then they will certainly be in contention for call-ups again.
"One of the great aspects of this side is that we've got a good mixture of players from different clubs. I hope fans of these teams will turn out in force on Friday to give them and their national side the vocal support they deserve."Tickets for Friday night's match which kicks off at Headingley Carnegie at 8pm are still available.
Children's tickets start from 5 and season ticket holders of any engage Super League or Co-operative National League side have until Thursday evening to buy tickets with up to 25% discount. Thursday evening is also the cut off point for families to take advantage of a special 25 ticket that gives entry to two adults and two children.
On the night of the match spectators can pay on the gate. General admission starts from 12 and entry for kids is 5.

Source: www.bradfordbulls.co.ukengage Super League and Carnegie World Club Champions, Bradford Bulls, held its annual Player of the Year Awards last night and it quickly became apparent that it was going to be the Lynch and Langley show.
The duo picked up no less than seven of the eight Trophies on offer for the Senior Squad. Andy Lynch, who has had a tremendous season, took both the Supporters Player of the Year and the Player's Player. He was also named Best Forward and took the BISA Player of the Year Award. Jamie Langley was awarded the Peter Lovett Trophy for Top Tackler and the Telegraph and Argus Best Average Award, with 7.39. He also got Steve McNamara's vote as Prize Bull. Marcus Bai was named Best Back.
Other awards went to Sam Burgess, Senior Academy Player of the Year, chosen by Basil Richards.
Dave Halley, Player's Player of the Year for the Senior Academy and Andy Smith for Top Try Scorer with 27.
The Trevor Foster Award, for the most improved player went to young Loose Forward, Luke Helliwell.
In the Junior Academy, James Waddington won the Tommy Uttley Memorial Trophy for the most improved player, Kieran Hyde and Dwaine Nelson shared the Top Try Scorer Award, Sean Johnson was Paul Medley's Choice as Player of the Year whilst Kieran Hyde won the Player's Player vote.
Joe Vagana took the Clubman of the Year Award and there was a special presentation to Trevor Ward, son of the former Bulls and Gt. Britain Captain Ernest, to mark his father's induction in the Bradford Bulls / Northern Hall of Fame.
