Todd Carney is favourite with TAB Sportsbet to wear the Blues No6 jersey in Origin I, following Cronulla's early season form. The Sharks pivot gets his chance to stake claim for the spot on Saturday night, when he squares off against Jamie Soward.

Jamie Soward, the Blues incumbent, has already produced two 'man of the match' efforts this year and will be desperate to add to that this weekend. The Dragons are $1.75, while the Sharks are $2.10.

Terry Campese had his best game against the Tigers, but will need to do more to be in the Origin picture. He get's his chance to dominate another Blues contender in James Maloney when they play this weekend.

SOO I - NSW No.6
$2.50 Todd Carney
$2.75 Jamie Soward
$5.00 Jarrod Mullen
$9.00 James Maloney
$11.00 Players Not Quoted
$21.00 Kurt Gidley

The Sydney Roosters have agreed to terms with New Zealand Warriors star playmaker James Maloney.

Maloney will join the club in 2013 on a three-year deal.

A standout performer in 2011, Maloney, 25 years-old and in the peak of his career, is widely regarded as one of the best competitors in the game and the Roosters believe that he will be a valuable asset to the club.

Sydney Roosters recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan said: "2011 was a breakthrough year for James and we see him taking his game to the next level at the Roosters, forming a strong long-term partnership in the halves with Mitchell Pearce."

Sydney Roosters Head Coach Brian Smith added: "James has a style of play that will complement the Roosters and has a high goal kicking percentage as well.

"He will be in his prime across the seasons he has signed with us and we look forward to welcoming James to the Roosters in 2013."
