The Petero Civoniceva Medal Night in conjunction with the Fiji Australian Rugby League will be held this Sunday night with Daryl Millard, Jarryd Hayne, Wes Naiqama and John Sutton the four nominations to take out the big prize.

The actual Awards Ceremony will commence at 8pm.

Dragons determine Community Service for Naiqama

The St George Illawarra Dragons have today been advised that Wes Naiqama has been sentenced in Sydney District Court to an eight month custodial sentence to be served by periodic detention with a four month non-parole period, for driving while disqualified in November last year.

With the judicial process now complete, a full review of the judgement will be prepared for a meeting of the Board of the St George Illawarra Directors later this month. The Board at that meeting will determine Naiqama's future with the Club.

Dragons Management has determined that until such time, Naiqama will be required to undertake additional community service and development hours for the Club in addition to his custodial requirements.

It is to be noted that given Wes's current season ending knee injury, his involvement with the Dragons is limited to off-field activities.

Wes's community and development hours of work will be allocated in consideration of his postsurgical capabilities and strictly monitored.
