Cronulla coach Ricky Stuart has made drastic changes as the Sharks look to improve their woeful on and off field record with big name off-season signing Corey Hughes one of the players dropped to NSW Cup.
Joining Hughes in the Sharks NSW Cup side will be centre Ben Pomeroy and utility Blake Green.
The Sharks will be without regular halfback Brett Seymour with a knee injury and fullback Bronx Goodwin with an ankle injury and both players are expected to be out of action until round 16.
Regular captain Paul Gallen has been selected for NSW and is unavailable for the clash. Gallen was yesterday slapped with a $10,000 fine for alleged racial comments directed at Dragons forward Mickey Paea.
Coming into the Sharks side for Saturday's clash against Parramatta will be Matthew Wright, Scott Porter, Tony Caine, Jacob Selmes and Mitch Brown.
Hughes was one of the Sharks big off-season purchases with Hughes snared to replace Isaac De Gois, who left to join Newcastle.

Cronulla Sharks centre Ben Pomeroy has joined the City Origin team to replace injured centre Chris Lawrence.
Pomeroy was initially called into the squad as 18th man, but will now take Lawrence's place in the side after MRI scan results received this evening confirmed the Wests Tigers flyer has a partial tear to an ankle ligament.
Lawrence was injured midway through the second half in the Tigers narrow 22-20 loss against the Bulldogs on Sunday and was initially cleared to play along with Penrith's Michael Jennings, who was also injured.
The withdrawal of Lawrence is the second change to the original City side named with Adam Cuthertson pulling out yesterday and replaced on the bench by Mark O'Meley.
No 18th man has been named at this stage, but if there's still doubt over Jennings the possibilities for City would include Souths speedster Nathan Merritt or the Bulldogs Bryson Goodwin, who is currently the leading try-scorer in the NRL competition after eight rounds with Colin Best seemingly out of favour with City selectors despite making the NSW squad of 40 players whilst Pomeroy and Wade McKinnon didn't make the so-called preliminary squad.
No captain has been officially named for City with Robbie Farah favourite to win the position.
