The Broncos have received a boost with Peter Wallace to make a return from injury against the Storm on Friday night.

Wallace's return in timely for the Broncos, who are likely to be affected by the loss of Origin players.

Coach Anthony Griffin today named just one Queensland representative, Matt Gillett, in the team to take on the Storm.

Sam Thaiday, Petero Civoniceva, Ben Hannant and Justin Hodges were all left out, pending their match for the Maroons against NSW tomorrow night.

The final make-up of the side will be decided after Origin players are assessed.

In the team named today, Gillett was in the centres while Scott Anderson and Josh McGuire are the front rowers.

David Hala and Mitchell Dodds get their first NRL chances of 2012 on the bench, alongside Dunamis Lui.

Corey Parker will captain the team in Thaiday's absence.

Wallace returns for Titans clash

Peter Wallace returns to the Brisbane team for the massive clash with Gold Coast this Friday night.

Wallace has recovered from a groin strain that kept him out of the Broncos' strong 30-6 win over the Raiders 10 days ago.

It also ended any hopes he had of playing in last weekend's City-Country NSW Origin trial.

However he will run out against the Titans at Suncorp Stadium on Friday after training yesterday.

The unlucky man is Ben Hunt, who moves back to the bench after a sterling display in Wallace's absence.

Kurt Baptiste goes back to the Intrust Super Cup while Dunamis Lui keeps his place in the top 17, as a replacement forward on the bench.
