The Bulldogs have lost Willie Mason for eight weeks after suffering a dislocated left wrist in yesterday's loss to the Panthers.
Mason was taken to hospital where the wrist bones were put back in place.
It could be the end of the season for Mason unless the Bulldogs make the play-offs. Mason would then be due back either week 1 or week 2 of the finals.
The injury toll has mounted signicantly for the Bulldogs with Mark O'Meley out for 3 weeks with a hamstring problem, Cameron Phelps is out for 4 weeks with a fractured cheekbone and rookie forward Aaron Wheatley is also out for 4 weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
Sonny Bill Wiliams and Willie Tonga should return next week against the Gold Coast Titans and Lee Te Maari a week later.

Source: www.bulldogs.com.auThe Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs have announced two new player signings today - Aaron Wheatley from the Dragons and Brent Crisp from the Raiders.
Wheatley, 24, is a strong, solid forward who has played five NRL games. He has signed on for one year with the Bulldogs.
Bulldogs recruitment manager Keith Onslow commented, "Aaron burst onto the league scene in 2005 for the Dragons before he was struck down with injury and illness. That set him back a fair bit as other players such as Michael Henderson took their opportunities. He's hungry for another go at first grade and will provide us with good depth in the forwards."
Brent Crisp, 20, can play centre, wing or fullback and has a very handy goal-kicking boot. He has secured a two-year deal with the Bulldogs.
Onslow said, "Brent was a talented AFL player who turned his hand to league and has proved a point-scoring wiz. We see a lot of promise in him over the next couple of years."
