After having words with the rugby union heirachy, the Annandale rugby union club switched to league and joined the competition in 1910, replacing Newcastle. They played in the competition for 11 seasons until 1920, when they were kickout out for being too rough. They were never a very successful club, winning just 25 of their 153 games, and taking out the wooden spoon 4 times. Their best finish was 5th out of eight teams in 1911.

First Season: 1910.
Last Season: 1920.
Nickname: The Dales.
