The Minchinbury Jets Junior Rugby League Club was started by a very generous and eager man.
This man had a dream to form a Rugby League club in the area that he lived.
He had boys that wanted to play rugby league, so he set out to give the community something they didn't have yet.
He approached a few other people and set about forming a Rugby league club that we are all proud to say we are a member.
In 1994 Ray Sloss with his other friends registered The Minchinbury Junior Rugby League Club.
In 2003 Ray Sloss became a Patron of our club and in 2004 Jim Zahra was added to the list- these two men played a significant role in the establishment and continuation of our club.
Our growth in size requires that we now have two playing fields- our 6's to 11's home ground is Berreux Reserve on Barossa Drive Minchinbury and our 12's to 15's and the Sunday competition play thier home games at May Cowpe Reserve on John Street Rooty Hill.
