Wigan are bottom of the Super League for the first time after slumping to a 34-12 defeat at champions Bradford.
The Warriors needed to avoid defeat by 11 points to stay off the foot of the table, but the Bulls ran in seven tries.
Heavy fog settled over Odsal and could have forced an abandonment. Certainly many in the 11,644 crowd will not have been able to see all the action.
The result was never in doubt once prop Andy Lynch went through a huge gap in the Wigan defence to score the opening try after five minutes.
Three minutes later centre Ben Harris was on hand to take Marcus Bai's pass and double the advantage.
The Warriors did show a glimspe of class as skipper Sean O'Loughlin took Danny Orr's inside pass to score - but at the wrong end for the Wigan fans to see.
That signalled Wigan's best spell of the game, but Micky Higham was pulled up for a forward pass and Dennis Moran's try was chalked off.
The Bulls hit back quickly as Mark Calderwood failed to deal with Stanley Gene's grubber kick in-goal and Shontayne Hape stretched Bradford's lead.
Gene's run from dummy half then set up substitute Karl Pryce for a fourth try just before the break.
Wigan could not rally after the interval and 80 seconds in Pryce charged through the middle of the Wigan defence, setting up the position for Iestyn Harris to slot a kick through for Bai to score.
The Bulls skipper was again the provider for the sixth try with a long cut-out pass that sent second rower Chris McKenna crashing over, before Wigan gained some respite with a Pat Richards try from a Brett Dallas break.
But even then Bradford had the last word as Lesley Vainikolo forced his way over seven minutes from time for his 115th try for the Bulls, capping another impressive display from the Kiwi and his team.
