Wed April 5, 2006 Source: www.weststigers.com.auWestern Suburbs Magpies Coach Andrew Willis was hoping to get the boys back on track in this important game against the Bears. A loss would almost certainly put the boys out of the race for the final series; however it was the Bears who put on the first try which sparked the Magpies into action. They dominated all aspects of play during the remainder of the game, running out winners 48-10. The entire team contributed to the win, however standout performers were half Wade Dunley, Chris Lawrence, Luke Kelly, Michael Stolk and Nathan Fiti. Scorers for the Magpies ? Michael Fualolo 2 tries, Luke Wisbey 1 try, Ratu Peni Tagive 1 try, Luke Kelly 1 try, Valeni Tiatia 1 try, Ben Shea 1 try, William Mataka 1 try, Simon Dwyer 1 try and Chris Lawrence 1 try and 4 goals. The Magpies play the Sharks at 12.30pm Saturday 8 April, 2006 Campbelltown Sports Stadium. Report sent by: www.weststigers.com.au |
