Our boys played well to defeat the Steelers who were a good side and helped provide a really top quality game of rugby league. Both front rowers Sami Ghoniem and Watson Namoa laid the foundation for the win and special mentions must go to Andrew Barakat playing of the bench for his injection of enthusiasm plus fullback Fineu Moeakiola who had a fine game at the back.
The halves Neenan Simpson and Brad Murray both impressed and put the polish on the victory.

SG BALL OUT OF COMPETITIONA very good season ended for the Bulldogs SG Ball in the semi final with a 50-10 loss to South Sydney.
Souths played really well and the Bulldogs left their form behind unfortunately. Overall the players can be pleased with their season as should the coaching staff and the officials.
It has been many years since the Bulldogs have been in the semi finals in the SG Ball competition and we can look forward to a quantity of grade players coming out of this squad. Best for the side today was centre Heka Nanai and second rower Nathan Dib who both played their hearts out.
