Harlequins scored a record win in a scorching performance against National League club Barrow Raiders at the Twickenham Stoop to move through to the Quarter Finals of the Powergen Challenge Cup.
Tony Rea's team ran in fourteen tries to two and never looked in doubt of a comfortable win despite having some twelve players unavailable.
Seven of those tries were scored in the first half, Rob Purdham converting six, to make it 40-0 at half time.
Quins then ran in another seven tries in the second half, Purdham landing all four conversions, to set a number of new club records.
Man of the Match Purdham landed a 32 point haul beating the previous best set by former London Bronco Greg Barwick. And his 13 successful goals surpassed the previous record of 12 held by former flatmate and good friend, Paul Sykes.
A new club record was also equalled for most points ever scored in a game (cup or league).
Pat Weisner, who started the game at stand off in the absence of cup-tied Henry Paul, scored the first of his two after seven minutes of play.
Chad Randall was next in on ten minutes and Lee Hopkins had a try disallowed for obstruction before Luke Dorn took the score to 18-0.
Londoners Joe Mbu and Micheal Worrincy were next over. Worrincy scoring his first top flight try in his first starting appearance.
Matt Gafa and Nick Bradley-Galilawa also went in before the interval with the home side rattling in at the rate of one point per minute.
Some hope for the visitors came just two minutes after the restart with winger James Nixon crossing out wide but normal service resumed when Purdham added a try to his six first half goals.
Micheal Worrincy then went in for number two taking the Quins past the half century before Lee Hopkins was finally rewarded for a strong performance with a try on the hour mark.
Luke Dorn collected his second before Tim Hartley became the tenth different Quins player to get on the score sheet.
Barrow winger James Finch scored a long range effort for the visitor's second and final try of the game before Weisner and Purdham made it a double each.
