Huddersfield Giants Head Coach Jon Sharp yesterday reflected on his side's victory over Salford in the Powergen Challenge Cup Quarter Final at the Galpharm Stadium emphasizing that the victory was the main aim.
Sharp commented, "In the Powergen Challenge Cup the priority is to gain the victory with performance coming second, however it just so happened that our performance was very pleasing. I thought today we showed that we are a big and direct side with a pack that is difficult to control. We carried on the good form, which we have shown over the past month."
Sharp also paid tribute to the Powergen Man of the Match Robbie Paul stating that he was fantastic.
Sharp said, "Robbie has been fantastic both on and off the field this season, with today being probably one of his best games, as he was influential in most of our attack. Robbie has impressed all season, he has been great for the club and we have been good for him as well."
