The Bulldogs 48-point thrashing against Canberra at Telstra Stadium yesterday was the fifth biggest winning margin in the Club's 73-year history.
The blue-and-whites scored ten tries as they ran away 52-4 winners in front of 12,127 fans.
One player who stood out from the rest was 22-year-old Sonny Bill Williams. The New Zealand International managed to score a hat-trick of tries, make three line breaks, 21 tackles, 131 metres and burried Raiders halfback Michael Dobson into the turf with that famous left shoulder.
The Raiders were simply no match for Sonny Bill and the ruthless Bulldogs as they conceded their second worst defeat in their 26 years of existence.
The win prematurely puts the Dogs in 5th position on the National Rugby League ladder - two points off the 3rd placed Eels. The boys from Belmore will remain where they are if the Panthers can upset the Cowboys tonight at CUA Stadium.
