Chris Thorman scored a try and kicked seven goals to top 1,000 career points as Huddersfield Giants registered a record fourth straight engage Super League victory over Harlequins RL.
And the Stand-off's 49th-minute touchdown was the highlight of a pulsating game.
The move began with Chris Nero breaking from deep before offloading to the rampaging Stephen Wild. He charged forward and then allowed Thorman to finish the phase off in style.
Huddersfield went on to build a comfortable 32-10 cushion, capitalising on the temporary loss of Lee Hopkins to seal their second converted try of the afternoon.
Thorman then set up two tries for Wild and Steve Snitch to put the result beyond doubt.
As the afternoon wore on the lead was extended further when Nero and Paul Reilly both dived over in the final minutes.
It was a far cry from the opening period - Harlequins started far the brighter and found themselves 10-6 up at one stage after tries from Chad Randall and Tyrone Smith cancelled out Jamahl Lolesi's opener.
The Giants worked their way back into it though and Reilly and Snitch both went over before the break.
The sin binning of Hopkins proved the difference in the second half. Harlequins were hardly in contention after that and it took until two minutes from time for ex-Giants star Jon Grayshon to grab a late consolation try for the visitors.
