HOW WILL YOU APPROACH THIS WEEKS GAME?
We are looking forward to another good game and a big challenge for us against a side who have come right back in to form. We have had a very busy couple of weeks with the games against Bradford and Saints and fixtures against Wigan fall into the same category.
HOW BIG A THREAT TO WIGAN POSE?
We will be very wary of them, especially after seeing them defeat Bradford last week. They have also beaten us twice already this season so we know what they are capable of. We are aware of those two defeats at Headingley Carnegie earlier in the season and we know we will need to put in our best performance to reverse those results.
They have got a pair of dangerous half backs in Trent Barrett and Thomas Leuluai and have internationals across the board to threaten us. We will have to be on our game if we are going to match up to them but we are confident we can produce that type of performance, as we did last week.
HOW MUCH CONFIDENCE DO YOU TAKE FROM LAST WEEK?
We were obviously delighted to get the win and the manner of the performance that the players produced. We reviewed the game at the start of the week and that is put to bed now and we are focussed on Wigan. They played last Friday as well so we both have the disadvantage of the shorter turnaround.
We have lost Matt Diskin from last week which will be a blow to us, as it would be to any team to lose a player of his quality. However, Jordan Tansey and Kevin Sinfield have both played a lot at dummy half this season, either when Matt was out injured or during games when Matt has come off, and we have every confidence in whoever fills in in that position.
RHINOS HOPING IT'S THIRD TIME LUCKYGreat Britain prop Jamie Thackray will return to the Rhinos squad for their trip to JJB Stadium to face Wigan this Thursday, kick off 8pm.
Thackray missed last Friday's win over St Helens but has been recalled to the squad following the injury suffered by Matt Diskin in the game at Knowsley Road.
The Rhinos will be hoping it will be a case of third time lucky against Wigan this season. The Warriors won at Headingley Carnegie in Super League and the Carnegie Challenge Cup earlier in the season however Leeds did win on their last visit to the JJB Stadium at the start of 2006 season.
The 18 man squad in full is:
1. Brent Webb
2. Scott Donald
3. Clinton Toopi
4. Keith Senior
6. Danny McGuire
7. Rob Burrow
8. Kylie Leuluai
10. Jamie Peacock
11. Jamie Jones-Buchanan
12. Gareth Ellis
13. Kevin Sinfield
14. Ali Lauitiiti
15. Jamie Thackray
16. Ryan Bailey
17. Nick Scruton
18. Ian Kirke
23. Jordan Tansey
25. Ryan Hall
