Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs player Hazem El Masri will this Sunday play his 273rd first match for the Club, becoming the most capped Bulldogs first grade player of all time.

El Masri made his grade debut for the Bulldogs in 1995 and his first grade debut one year later against Balmain in Round 2 at Parramatta Stadium.

El Masri has played 18 Jersey Flegg games (or equivalent), 30 Premier League games (or reserve grade equivalent) and 272 first grade games for a club total of 327.

Hazem's representative honours include, Australia in 2002 and Lebanon in the 2000 World Cup, City Origin from 2001 to 2005 and last year he was finally rewarded for his outstanding club performances with a State of Origin appearance in Game 3.

El Masri also became the club's most capped player on June 22, 2007 when he ran out against Manly for his 314th club appearance. He became only the second player to have played 300 club games for the Bulldogs eclipsing Head Coach Steve Folkes record of 313 games for the Bulldogs across all grades.
