Tue June 3, 2008 Source: www.bulldogs.com.auThe Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs have today announced another new look line up for this Saturdays Round 13 match against the Newcastle Knights at ANZ Stadium. The Bulldogs have named Matt Utai and Daniel Holdsworth in the starting team, with both players returning from injury and being given right up until the 5.30pm kick off to prove their fitness. The team will include another debutant, with Bulldogs junior Frank Winterstein named on the bench. Joining him will be Fred Briggs who has been recalled to the top squad his after making his Bulldogs first grade debut last year, along with Aaron Groom who was chosen ahead of Michael Sullivan after debuting earlier this year against the Gold Coast in round 10. Last week's Player's Player Brad Morrin and debutant Charlie Leano will both retain their respective starting position in the front row. Gidley and Simpson join Buderus in the NSW side for game two of the State of Origin series. Even though the trio will be missing from the Knights side, the most crucial player missing will be the Bulldogs best player Sonny Bill Williams, who is again struggling with injury. Both sides lost on the weekend with Newcastle going down to the Warriors in a heart stopper at EnergyAustralia Stadium whereas the Bulldogs were embarrassed and humiliated by the Storm.
