Source: www.raiders.com.auThe CFMEU Canberra Raiders have named an unchanged line-up for their big clash against the Brisbane Broncos on Sunday afternoon, after skipper Alan Tongue was cleared to play yesterday.
Results from a scan on Tongue's knee indicated no serious damage, and the Raiders Captain will be fit and ready to take his place on the field against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
After a solid debut for the Green Machine Marc Herbert remains at number seven for this weekend's match, while Glen Buttriss retains his spot on the Raiders bench.
After playing a strong 70 minutes for Souths Logan last weekend in the Queensland Cup last weekend Neville Costigan has been named on an extended Raiders bench with Michael Weyman who returns from concussion, but both are expected to play for the Queensland based Magpies on Saturday afternoon.
After making their way back into the top eight the Raiders will be looking to hold their solid form against the Broncos on Sunday, as a win would help them on their way to securing a place in this years final series.
