His team is racking up big wins and is on target for a tilt at the minor premiership, but Souths Logan coach Paul Bramley insists the Magpies can play better.
Bramley's assessment comes after the Magpies steamrolled their way to another impressive Wizard Cup victory.
The red-hot Magpies piled on 34 points in the second half to blitz the Burleigh Bears 44-12 at Meakin Park on Saturday.
Burleigh led 12-10 at half-time.
"We just completed our sets (and) kept it simple," Bramley said of the Magpies' second half revival.
"Burleigh came out and had a crack at us. They're a good footy side. We knew if we put them under pressure in the second half we would come through.
"Everyone come out of it all right. Again, we did it with very minimal numbers of Raiders (players)."
Canberra Raiders players Brett Kelly, Marc Herbert and Cy Lasscock donned the Souths Logan colours for the round 11 match.
Kelly and Kyle Lodge scored doubles, but it was Chad Grintell's form on the wing which impressed Bramley the most.
Bramley said Grintell's "energy" and enthusiasm provided a massive lift for the Magpies, who were also well served by Logan juniors Sean McBride and Chris Daly.
Although the Magpies have now won their last two games by a combined tally of 70 points, Bramley is convinced his charges can still improve.
That assessment would be music to the ears of success-starved Souths Logan supporters.
Bramely said the players enjoyed the opportunity to play in front of a strong crowd at Meakin Park.
"They love it, especially when we get a crowd like that," he said.
"They just turn up out there. They love their footy."
With eight players selected in the City team for the annual clash against Country this weekend, Bramley said the Magpies would have a light week on the training paddock.
