Whitehaven scored seven tries, two of them coming from Craig Calvert and others from Karl Edmondson, Gary Broadbent, Ryan McDonald, Ade Adebisi and Derry Eilbeck. Carl Rudd kicked seven conversions and two penalty goals. For the French side, Chris Beattie got their only try after 25 minutes, converted by Gregory Mazard. The game was highlighted by some fine tries, particularly when Calvert got the ball on halfway to beat two men in transit for the opening try after nine minutes. Report source: www.therfl.co.uk |
