State of Origin selections have placed plenty of pressure on Manly to maintain their surge for the top eight and they will field a seriously depleted line-up on Sunday for the clash with the Raiders.
The Sea Eagles now have one of the highest representations of any club with David Williams, Jamie Lyon, Brent Kite, Anthony Watmough and Glenn Stewart all called to duty for the Blues while number one strike weapon Brett Stewart is at least nine weeks away from resuming.
Their opposition, Canberra, are close to full strength after Terry Campese was not retained as Blues' five-eighth and shadow Origin players Joel Monaghan and Tom Learoyd-Lahrs permitted to play if they do not get the call to join the Blues' top 17.
The Sea Eagles have won four of their last five games and six of their last seven against the Raiders but the outcome of this game is wide open due to the Origin drain.
The Raiders built some solid momentum leading into their Round 13 bye and had Cronulla at their mercy when they led 20-10 last Sunday but let them off the hook with a lacklustre final 40 minutes.
Consider a Canberra try as First Scoring Play and Raiders/Sea Eagles or Sea Eagles/Raiders outcome in the Half/Full Double.
First Tryscoring hopefuls include Michael Robertson, Tony Williams or Steve Matai for Manly or Phil Graham, David Milne or Jarrod Croker for Canberra.
