Source: www.qrl.com.auRedcliffe produced a stunning second half performance to thump the Norths Devils 32-14 at Bishop Park.
The Devils led 14-0 after just 15 minutes following tries from Jharal Yow Yeh, Gideon Mzembe and Jace Brown.
But the Devils soon found themselves on the back foot as the Dolphins capitalised on a string of penalties to bridge the gap to 14-10 at half-time.
The home team was dreadful at times in the second half.
Norths halfback Ben Hunt struggled to make an impact in his first match back from a shoulder injury.
The Dolphins had no such problems in the halves, with Palmer Wapau and Dane Campbell toying with their opponents in the final 40 minutes.
Wapau, who replaced the injured Tim Yee at five-eighth, was at his destructive best.
Alwyn Simpson capped off a memorable outing for the Dolphins when he took an intercept and raced away to score the final try of the game in the 75th minute.
REDCLIFFE DOLPHINS 32 (Liam Georgetown, Chris Fox, Alwyn Simpson, Dane Campbell, Troy Giess, Palmer Wapau tries; Liam Georgetown 4 goals) def NORTHS DEVILS 14 (Jharal Yow Yeh, Gideon Mzembe, Jace Brown tries; Jason Connors goal) at Bishop Park.

BURLEIGH v NORTHERN PRIDE
Saturday, April 11 @ Pizzey Park 2pm
* Live On ABC TVTHE Burleigh Bears will don unique pink jerseys for the ABC TV match-of-the-round. The "Pink Day Out" promotion aims to raise vital funding and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. The match itself should be a ripper, with the Bears hunting for a third-straight victory and the Pride eager to hit back after a disappointing last-start loss to the Sunshine Coast. Key Pride halfback Chris Sheppard (hamstring) is unlikely to make the trip to Burleigh. The Cairns outfit lacked direction last weekend without the former Cowboys playmaker. With back up halfback Luke Milwood also out injured, Pride coach Andrew Dunemann has named regular fullback Chey Bird in the No. 7 jersey. Burleigh fullback Nick Parfitt needs just 11 points to overtake Reggie Cressbrook and become the second highest points scorer in Queensland Cup history.
SUNSHINE COAST v SOUTHS LOGAN
Saturday, April 11 @ Stockland Park 2pmTHE Sunshine Coast returns to Stockland Park full of confidence following its tenacious 16-14 victory over the Northern Pride. Souths Logan is also riding high after completing a hat-trick of wins last weekend. As feeder clubs to their respective NRL teams, both sides won't fully settle on their teams and key combinations until match eve. Sunshine Coast skipper Cameron Joyce plays his first match for the Sea Eagles against the Magpies, one of his former clubs. Joyce played 72 Queensland Cup games for Souths Logan between 2004 and 2007. Joyce spent the 2008 season with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls. However, the classy rake is thoroughly enjoying his time with the Sea Eagles and he'll be even happier if his team records a third win from five starts with a victory over the defending premiers.
EASTS TIGERS v TWEED HEADS
Saturday, April 11 @ Langlands Park 3pmWADE Liddell chalks up his 150th Queensland Cup game for the Easts Tigers in the round five clash at Langlands Park. The match caps off a huge few weeks for the Scotland international, whose partner Rachel gave birth to their first child on April 1. Liddell's team is yet to open its account in season 2009 but there were some encouraging signs in the second half of last weekend's 32-24 loss to Souths Logan. Tweed's campaign is starting to gather momentum after a strong 32-20 victory over the Jets at Cudgen last Sunday. The Tigers will have to be on high alert whenever Tweed fullback Shannon Walker gets the ball in hand. Walker scored a stunning hat-trick against Ipswich.
IPSWICH v CENTRAL COMETS
Saturday, April 11 @ Briggs Road 5pmWITH 14 wins and a draw from 23 previous Queensland Cup encounters, the Jets hold the ascendancy in the head to head stakes. However, the Comets enter the Briggs Road clash as the hot fancies after winning their third match from four starts last weekend. In contrast, the Jets are yet to sing their victory song and a fifth-straight defeat would virtually kill off their semi-final ambitions. The Jets have lacked stability in the key halves and hooking roles this year, with a number of injury setbacks forcing coach Glenn Lazarus to chop and change. Jackson Nicolau is set to partner Jeremy Golf in the halves for this game. Ian Lacey takes control of the dummy-half role in the absence of the injured Michael Ryan. The Comets have no shortage of attacking options, with Nat Bowman, PJ Marsh and Tom Hewitt filling key positions.
WYNNUM MANLY v MACKAY
Sunday, April 12 @ BMD Kougari Oval 2pmMACKAY arrives at BMD Kougari Oval on Sunday searching for its first victory over the Seagulls. Wynnum won both outings against Mackay last year but the Cutters of 2009 loom as a much tougher proposition. The Cutters have won three out of their opening four matches, while the Seagulls have just one win to show from their first month's work. Wynnum Manly's preparations have again been hit hard by injury, with Will Scanlan and Angus Martin the two major casualties from the Seagulls' 24-12 loss to the Norths Devils last weekend. The Cutters will be without star centre Donald Malone, who could miss up to a month of football with a knee injury in a major blow to his NRL aspirations.
NORTHS DEVILS v REDCLIFFE
Sunday, April 12 @ Bishop Park 3pmVETERAN forward Danny Burke returns to the Redcliffe line-up after serving a one match suspension for a high tackle. The tough forward's return is a welcome boost for a Dolphins outfit that leaked 34 points in an uncharacteristic display against the Central Comets last Sunday. The Dolphins were outplayed all over the park last weekend but it's hard to imagine the proud club playing so poorly two weeks in a row. In fact, Norths CEO Mark Murray believes the round five clash will be the Devils' biggest test of the season. Norths sit on top of the Queensland Cup table after recording a hard-fought 24-12 win over Wynnum last weekend. Norths have named Broncos players Jharal Yow Yeh and Ashton Sims in their starting team.
