Source: www.superleague.co.ukCatalans Dragons recovered from a 10-point deficit to continue their engage Super League revival with a seven-try win over Wigan Warriors in Perpignan.
Clint Greenshields and Jason Ryles each touched down twice as the Dragons moved level with the Warriors by following up their Good Friday victory at Harlequins RL with a commanding display.
Dimitri Pelo, Greg Bird and Gregory Mounis were also on the Dragons scoresheet with Thomas Bosc kicking six goals.
Wigan, edged out out by St Helens in a ferocious derby just four days previously, faded after a bright opening and Martin Gleeson's first try for the club was scant consolation.
The Dragons were the first side on the scoreboard when Pelo touched down in the corner from a Dane Carlaw pass in the second minute.
Wigan responded superbly and looked to have taken control of the game as they ran in three tries in the space of 20 minutes to build a 14-4 lead.
Amos Roberts grabbed the first of them after Catalans conceded a drop out and Sean O'Loughlin sent a bullet pass out wide from the resulting possession.
Prop Andy Coley then created the next by ducking under a challenge and powering forward before finding Karl Pryce with a one-handed pass. The move ended with a ninth Super League try of the season for 19-year-old wing star Shaun Ainscough.
England centre Gleeson was then on hand to claim his first try for the Warriors since his high-profile move from Warrington when he finished off a break by Roberts.
Pat Richards' first goal from three attempts looked to have given the visitors a healthy cushion but the Dragons hit back, given fresh impetus by the arrival of strong-running David Ferriol from the bench.
Bosc also came to the fore, creating the gap for captain Bird to stretch over the line before converting.
Ferriol then barged through the Wigan defence before Casey McGuire and Steven Bell helped put Mounis over.
Bosc's second goal put the Dragons into the lead and there was more to come before the break as Ryles touched down from close range after a Remi Casty burst.
The Dragons maintained the momentum after the interval as Bosc's delicate kick with the outside of the boot bounced nicely between the posts for Greenshields to slide in.
Full-back Greenshields claimed his second from a great pass from Ryles, who then followed suit after more fine work from Bosc.
After conceding 36 unanswered points, Wigan roused themselves to score late consolation tries through Sam Tomkins and Richards but the match had long since been won.
