Source: www.superleague.co.ukChris Bridge starred as Warrington Wolves prepared for the Engage Super League play-offs with a thrilling 36-22 win in the capital.
Centre Bridge grabbed two tries and kicked 12 points as the Wolves ensured Brian McDermott's final game as Quins coach ended in defeat.
Both sides made a stuttering start to the game, spilling the ball when in promising attacking positions.
But, after the Wolves were penalised at a scrum, Quins took the lead inside six minutes when Andy Ellis burrowed over from close range after Olsi Krasniqi was held just short.
And that lead was quickly added to with a cracking score, as Luke Gale and David Howell sliced open the defence, allowing Luke Dorn to scorch over the line.
The hosts had their tails up, and an under-strength Warrington side were chasing shadows.
But, once again, a penalty swung the flow of the game as the Wolves kicked to the corner and from the resulting possession Jon Clarke squeezed over.
The visitors then came close to drawing level, but a superb last-ditch tackle from Jamie O'Callaghan stopped Chris Hicks from going in at the corner.
The game was being played at a furious tempo and it was no surprise there was a further score shortly after, David Solomona making no mistake this time as Warrington got the try their intent deserved.
Suddenly the Wolves had the upper hand and it was only some impressive close-range defence from the hosts that kept them out.
With both sides throwing the ball around with abandon, it was a real spectacle for the fans, and as far removed from an end-of-season encounter as you could imagine.
Warrington should have gone ahead on the half-hour when Vinnie Anderson burst clear, but Richie Myler spilled the ball with the line at his mercy.
Within minutes Quins had done the same, Dorn unable to hold on to a pass after Gale had broken the line.
The visitors took the lead for the first time just before the break, Mike Cooper cashing in after some fantastic handling from Michael Monaghan - and added another on the hooter through Bridge.
Back came the Quins after the break, Dorn gratefully pocketing a shocking pass from Monaghan to stroll over under the sticks.
Warrington steadied the ship once more when Solomona bulldozed over for his second try on 55 minutes, brushing aside four would-be tacklers to score.
And the game was done as a contest just after the hour when Bridge romped clear after intercepting a poor Dorn pass.
To their credit the hosts were still looking to put the ball through the hands, and twice the ball eluded Dorn when a clean take would have resulted in a try.
But Dorn was not to be denied, claiming his hat-trick after some enterprising passing allowed him to cruise over in the corner.

Source: www.league.quins.co.ukA recurrence of a groin injury has forced Danny Orr to withdraw from the Harlequins RL squad ahead of tonight's match against Warrington Wolves at the Stoop.
Orr's place will be taken by 19-year-old Joe Ridley who could make his Super League debut in the clash against the Challenge Cup winners.
Essex-born Ridley played rugby union with Colchester Romans until the age of 16 when he made the switch to league. The centre has graduated from the under 16s and under 18s to play in the under 20s competition. Last month he began training with the first team and has been assigned shirt number 37.
Ridley's inclusion brings the total number of London-trained players in tomorrow's squad up to seven, the very evening that Harlequins RL will be celebrating 30 years of London Rugby League.
Members of the original 1980 Fulham team will be present at the Stoop and the matchday magazine will feature a full reproduction of the original programme.
Tickets are available now from just £15 adults, £10 concessions and £5 under 16s.
Call the Ticket Office on 0871 527 1315 or visit www.quinsrl.co.uk to book online.
