Source: www.bradfordbulls.co.ukBradford Bulls have announced that Shaun Ainscough has agreed a one year contract extension with the club with an option for a further one year term.
Ainscough signed for the Bulls from Wigan Warriors but his first season at the club has been disrupted by injury, which has limited him to only nine appearances in which he has scored five tries.
However Bulls Coach Mick Potter is pleased to have Ainscough on board again for next season:
"Shaun started the year very well but unfortunately got an injury. He's still very young, so he's still got a lot of learning. He's got speed and the ability to score tries and once he's got the ball in hand he's hard to stop."

"I'm really glad to have signed for another year because it's a good club to be at. My injury hasn't really helped but they've given me another year to show what I can do and I'm happy with that because I knew it was going to be hard to get a new contract after nine games. But the fact they have signed me is a positive because it shows they can see something in me."

Source: www.bradfordbulls.co.ukBradford Bulls Winger Shaun Ainscough has had an operation on the ankle he injured in the game against Warrington on May 1st and is set to miss a further six weeks of the season.
Ainscough has been in a period of Rehabilitation but has not responded to the treatment and has now had an operation.
Commenting on the Operation, Bulls Football Manager Stuart Duffy said:
"Shaun saw a Specialist in early May and his advice was to manage it conservatively through Rehab. Unfortunately the injury did not respond sufficiently and Shaun has now had to have an operation to stabilise his ankle. It's a blow for Shaun but he is happy that it has now been addressed and he is looking forward to getting back to full fitness."
