Source: www.titans.com.auQueensland State of Origin forward Ashley Harrison is set to return from injury for the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans in Friday night's clash local derby against the Brisbane Broncos at Skilled Park.
Jetstar Titans coach John Cartwright today named Harrison to return from an ankle injury while the Gold Coast forward pack will be further boosted with prop Aaron Cannings also making his comeback from a hamstring injury.
Livewire Preston Campbell will switch from fullback to five-eighth to account for the loss of experienced pivot Mat Rogers, who was today ruled out with a groin injury.
Hooker Nathan Friend has been named to play in the No.9 jersey despite suffering an ankle injury in last Friday night's loss to the Bulldogs.
Rookie Kayne Lawton and former Broncos hooker Ian Lacey have both been named on stand-by for Friend should he fail to prove his fitness for the clash.

Source: www.titans.com.auThe Jetstar Gold Coast Titans have further bolstered their forward stocks for next season with the re-signing of tough props Matt White and Aaron Cannings.
The front rowers have both agreed to one-year extensions for next season in a move which will ensure the Jetstar Titans' highly regarded forward pack stays together for another year.
White, 25, and Cannings, 27, join the likes of Luke Bailey, Anthony Laffranchi, Ashley Harrison, Mark Minichiello, Brad Meyers, Michael Henderson and Will Matthews at the club for next season.
White has played 10 games this season in his first year as a Jetstar Titan while Cannings has played 92 NRL games, including 25 matches for the Gold Coast since joining the club in 2008.
Jetstar Titans managing director Michael Searle said it was important to have secured the pair's signing for 2010.
"I'm really pleased that Matt and Aaron have re-signed with the club because it ensures that our forward pack has another year to build on what they have achieved together this season,'' said Searle.
"I'm sure that their decision to re-sign will also enable them to finish off this year strongly.''
Jetstar Titans coach John Cartwright said the pair had proven to be important members of the squad.
"It's great to be able to keep them both here,'' said Cartwright.
"Matt has been a valuable addition to our squad this season while Aaron has been a significant contributor for the past two years.''
White said he was pleased to have sorted his future for next season, having joined the club on a one-year deal for 2009 after a stint with the Newcastle Knights.
"It's good to get it out of the road so I can just concentrate on playing some good footy for the rest of the year,'' said White.
"It's a great club and a great bunch of blokes so I'm looking forward to another year, it should be good.''
Cannings, who has played with Manly and Parramatta, said he and his young family were happy to be staying on the Gold Coast.
"My family and I are really happy here so it's good to be able to sign for another year with the Titans,'' he said.
