Melbourne Storm would like to congratulate the three players who have been chosen to represent Australia in the upcoming 2011 Four Nations tournament.

Cameron Smith, Billy Slater and Cooper Cronk have been selected in the 24-man Kangaroos team that will tour the United Kingdom.

The team will go into camp for the first time this Sunday in Newcastle (Storm players will join on Monday after the Club's Presentation Ball) in preparation for the tournament with a one of Test against New Zealand at Ausgrid Stadium on Sunday 16 October.

The team departs for the United Kingdom on Friday 21 October and will kick-off the tournament the following week against New Zealand in Warrington.

Cronk set to return for Roosters clash

Star halfback Cooper Cronk makes a welcome return to the team after a fortnight out with a foot injury and will take his place in the lineup for the match against Sydney Roosters on Sunday night

Cronk's return enables young five-eighth Gareth Widdop to move back to his more favoured position.

Storm Assistant Coach Kevin Walters is delighted with the return of Cronk as it will give the side the balance and direction it needs.

"He'll be a welcome return to the side," said Walters.

"He obviously missed last week because of his ankle injury but he's worked really hard on his foot, we know the professional that he is, and it's good to see him back in the side.

"He'll certainly help everyone around him."

Young prop Jesse Bromwich also makes his return from injury, while the back-row will look much different than normal.

With Adam Blair and Sika Manu both missing, Ryan Hinchcliffe and Todd Lowrie will come into the starting line-up to partner Kevin Proctor in the back-row.

"They haven't all started together this season but they've been on the field at different stages together," said Walters.

"We all know the valuable contributions those three bring to the club and that will be the case again on Sunday against the Roosters.

"We know they've been in some good form and we know our back-row has been an area that we've been very strong in all year and that will be the case again on Sunday, albeit with a different trio of players."

Atelea Vea also comes into the side on the interchange bench.
