Hull KR sign Garret Crossman
Thu October 25, 2007
Source: http://www.hullkr.co.uk

Hull Kingston Rovers are delighted to announce that former Melbourne Storm player and NRL Grand Final Winner Garret Crossman has signed a 2 year deal, and will be joining the Robins until the end of 2009.

The robust front-rower has been a solid foundation in the Melbourne side and the hard working NRL Grand Winner has quickly established himself as a prominent front-rower in the Storm's squad this season.

Garret has had a great 2007 season and certainly has the platform to take his game to the next level. Hull Kingston Rovers Head Coach Justin Morgan commented: "It's great to be able to attract a player with such experience and knowledge of the game. As a club we are looking to move forward and build on what we have already established within Super League, I'm sure Garret will become a fans favourite and I look forward to working with him."

Meanwhile Jim Gannon has been released from the final year of his contract. Head Coach Justin Morgan commented: "Jim is a consummate professional who played a significant role in retaining our Super League status for 2008. I'm positive Jim will be a good acquisition for his next club".
