Castleford Tigers have given a new two-year contract to prop forward Jacob Emmitt.
Ever-present for the Tigers this season, the 23-year-old has been an impressive performer since joining from St Helens at the end of the 2010 campaign.
He will now remain at the Probiz Coliseum until the end of 2014 at least.
Emmitt follows in the footsteps of Jonathan Walker who recently signed a new contract and head coach Ian Millward said: "It's fantastic news on the back of Johnny signing last week. We're really excited to have him.
"Jake plays good minutes, is always developing his game and it is a big plus moving forward for the rest of the season."
Emmitt added: "It's great to be here, I'm really happy it's all done and dusted. I'm glad I can now concentrate on moving forward and hopefully having a successful year."

Castleford Tigers Welsh International forward Jake Emmitt is ruled out of contention for the Gillette Four Nations due to injury.
The Tigers forward of the year suffered a season-ending knee injury at Wigan in July but had hoped to recover in time to represent his country in the series against England, Australia and New Zealand.
Although named in the Wales 35-man train on squad, Jake confirmed that he won't be playing after being told by medics earlier today that he won't be fit to play until mid-December.
"It's a real shame," Emmitt said, "I've been hoping that I'd recover in time to give myself a chance of playing in the Four Nations. It would have been a dream to face the Kiwis at Wembley and to play for Wales again.
"I wish them all the best, I really hope they cause some upsets and put Welsh Rugby League on the map again.
"But it is not to be for me this year, I won't be able to do full training until December so now all of my focus is on getting back to my best for Cas at the start of next season."
AMENDED WALES 34-MAN TRAIN ON SQUAD: Craig Kopzcak (Bradford Bulls), Chris Beasley, Ian Webster (both Central Comets, Australia), Tyson Frizell (Cronulla Sharks), Andy Bracek, Gil Dudson, Ben Flower, Jordan James, Elliot Kear, Peter Lupton, Jamie Murphy, Gareth Thomas, Lloyd White, Lee Williams (all Crusaders), Ross Divorty (Featherstone Rovers), Danny Jones (Halifax), David Mills (Leigh Centurions), Geraint Davies (Limoux Grizzlies, France), Neil Budworth (MacKay Cutters, Australia), Rhys Griffiths (Sheffield Eagles), Joe Burke, Chris Davies, Andrew Gay, Dalton Grant, Aled James, Rhodri Lloyd, Steve Parry, Jack Pring, Christiaan Roets (all South Wales Scorpions), Ian Watson (Swinton Lions), Mark Lennon (Thirroul Butchers, Australia), Lee Briers, Rhys Williams (both Warrington Wolves), Matt Seamark (Wynnum Manly Seagulls, Australia).
