Warrington fullback Brent Grose has been ruled out of Friday's Super League clash against Leeds, which will be the first match he has missed for the Wolves since September 2004.
Grose has enjoyed a run of 60 consecutive appearances and his form at fullback this year has been impressive.
Richie Barnett who hasn't been in the starting side for two months is likely to be the new fullback in Grose's absence. Barnett has appeared in the last six matches on the bench.
Warrington coach Paul Cullen has named a 20-man squad for the clash but is yet to settle on his line-up. Leeds currently sit in 3rd position and Warrington in 6th position with the real possibility that these two sides could meet in the first elimination semi-final in three weeks time.
