Wests Tigers sign Tom Haberecht

Wests Tigers have signed promising St George-Illawarra second-rower Tom Haberecht for 2007 on a one-year-deal.

Haberecht, 21, is a talented second-rower who can also play in the front-row. He has spent the past two seasons with the Dragons. He is yet to play first grade.

A Canterbury junior, Haberecht played in the premiership winning Jersey Flegg side for St George-Illawarra last season alongside current Wests Tigers player Ben Jeffery.

"Tom is a wide running second-rower with a good offload and we are excited about having him on board,'' said Wests Tigers Recruitment Manager Warren McDonnell.
