Hill joined the club from Hull in 2006 but has only made a handful of appearances in the first team.
Speaking about the news Head Coach Brian Noble said,
"We have decided to release Danny from his contract with the club which will give him an opportunity to move elsewhere for the 2008 season. Danny came to the club at a difficult time and his chances were restricted due to injury .We wish him well for the future."Hill is set to sign terms with another club in the next couple of days.

Hardman, who has been influential since arriving is keen to stay on with Justin Morgan and his team, to help consolidate their place within Super League.
Hull Kingston Rovers Head Coach, Justin Morgan said:
"Ian was brought in to do a job, and he has done just that. He has fitted in very well and I've been really pleased with his performance since joining us from St Helens on loan."The club can also confirm that Danny Hill who was also on loan for a month has now returned back to Wigan Warriors.
