Source: www.giantsrl.comHuddersfield Giants have signed Great Britain International David Hodgson on a four-year contract.
The 26-year-old utility back who is in Great Britain's squad for this Autumn Test series, is delighted to sign for the Giants:
"There's no doubt I've made the right choice by coming to Huddersfield Giants. They are definitely one of the clubs who are going forward and will be a major force in Super League in the years ahead. Huddersfield now have a very good reputation in the competition, so deciding to come here wasn't the toughest of choices.
"To get a four-year deal made it even better, particularly as I'll be joining up with some of my old Wigan Academy mates in Stephen Wild, Martin Aspinwall, Kevin Brown and Stuart Jones. I can't wait."The Giants are today holding their final weekly press conference, to review the season, it will be held in the Media Room at the Galpharm Stadium at 1.30pm. Head Coach Jon Sharp will be present.
David Hodgson will also be present and available for one-on-one interviews.

Great Britain coach Brian Noble has produced one of the most controversial selection decisions of recent times with Lee Briers being omitted from the final Great Britain squad of 25.
Briers was originally named in the backup squad but was sent with the squad where an impressive performance from the fringe players would see them make their way into the final squad of 25. Briers was the outstanding performer in Great Britain's 40-6 victory against Newcastle where the rest of the side failed to fire against a side made up of park footballers.
Other players omitted from the squad are Ben Westwood, David Hodgson and Mick Higham.
Great Britain have endured years of failure and the omission of Briers confirms why the Lions will continue to be in the Rugby League wilderness.
