Source: www.cowboys.com.auNorth Queensland Toyota Cowboys duo Ben Jones and James Segeyaro have been recalled for Saturday night's round 14 NRL match against Manly at Brookvale Oval.
They come in to Coach Neil Henry's squad with co-captains Johnathan Thurston and Matthew Scott unavailable due to State of Origin commitments with Queensland.
Segeyaro, who was a late omission from Sunday's 40-24 win against Canberra, has played seven games in his first year as an NRL player, while Jones made two appearances for the Cowboys at the start of the season.
They have both been named on the interchange bench, with Michael Morgan joining Ray Thompson in the halves in Thurston's absence and Ashton Sims promoted to a starting front-row position with Scott missing.
Morgan made his first appearance of the season off the bench in the win against the Raiders and formerly partnered Thompson in the halves for the Cowboys' NYC team.
Both the Cowboys and Manly have 9-3 win-loss records at the halfway point of the NRL season.

Source: www.cowboys.com.auThe North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have boosted their stable of local signings with talented young five-eighth Michael Morgan agreeing to a three-year deal to 2013.
Morgan made his NRL debut for the Cowboys in 2010, playing four first grade games before returning to lead the successful Toyota Cup side that went on to finish the season in fourth place.
A Townsville Brothers junior, Morgan joined the Cowboys NYC side in 2009, scoring 14 tries in 19 appearances and earning selection in both the Queensland and Australian Schoolboys teams that year.
Cowboys General Manager - Football Peter Parr says Morgan's inclusion in the 2011 NRL side is a both reward for hard work and a promise of things to come.
"Michael is a promising young player with a big future at NRL level and we're delighted that he has recommitted to the club for another three years," Parr said.
"He has the flexibility to perform strongly at either halfback or five-eighth and will certainly be part of our mix for the halves next season."
Morgan is keen for the chance to make his mark in the new-look Cowboys squad, having commenced pre-season training with the NRL squad early this month.
"I got the taste for first grade last season and it was a fantastic experience to partner with a player of Johnathan Thurston's status," Morgan said.
"I believe I can continue to learn and develop my career with the Cowboys and I'm looking forward to where the next three years take me."
