Hull KR have continued their recruitment for the 2012 season by announcing the double capture of Crusaders RL forward Ryan O'Hara and the versatile Huddersfield Giant Graeme Horne.
Thirty-year-old O'Hara and Horne, 26, have both signed two-year contracts with the Robins, who do not have a coach for next season following the recent confirmation that Justin Morgan would leave the club at the end of the season.
O'Hara, a former New South Wales representative, joins the club as a non-quota player following a directive from the Rugby Football League, designed to find new homes for the players affected by the collapse of the Crusaders.
"It has been a bit of a rollercoaster for a few weeks and at one point it looked like I'd be going home for good," O'Hara said.
"But with the RFL ruling on quota spots, I had a few offers from clubs but, with knowing a few of the guys who play here already, coming to Hull KR was a good fit for me."
Horne's move sees him return to the city where he first emerged in the game, albeit across the river with Hull FC.
Despite being a Challenge Cup winner in 2005 and a Grand Finalist in 2006, Horne was never fully able to cement a spot alongside his brother Richard at Hull, but has flourished since moving to Huddersfield two years ago.
Now accomplished anywhere in the pack or at centre, he is looking forward to a return 'home'.
"I think I've matured as a player and as a person at Huddersfield," he said.
"I'm glad to be coming back to the city and I'm really excited about next year. I want to be a very good player for the team."
The pair follow Huddersfield winger David Hodgson in agreeing deals with KR for next season and beyond.

Source: www.crusadersrfl.comRyan O'Hara believes St Helens will face a much stronger Crusaders outfit when they visit the Racecourse Ground this Saturday (kick-off 7:15pm).
The Wrexham side pushed Saints all the way when the two sides met back in March before last season's Super League Grand Finalists ran out 30-37 winners.
It was a game that could have gone either way and O'Hara believes Saints will face a tougher and more competitive Crusaders outfit in Wrexham this Saturday.
"At the start of the year we probably would have dreaded playing St Helens but we can't wait to get at them this Saturday," O'Hara said.
" We are excited, we're building something special here in Wrexham and as a player you always want to test yourself against the best. St Helens are one of the best sides in Super League.
"Brian (Noble) has asked us just to concentrate on the St Helens game. The end of the Hull game has really got us pumped for Saturday. It (The penalty) was a 50/50 call but it has really helped galvanise us for the Saints game. It is a huge game, probably our biggest game since the opening game against Leeds back in January.
"Last time we met Saints we were narrowly beaten 37-30 at Knowlsey Road. Our forwards fought hard to contain the likes of James Graham so stopping their go forward and winning the ruck will be the key to competing against Saints.
"I say this every week but this is our biggest game of the season and a packed Racecourse ground will have Wrexham rocking. A victory would all but seal a play-off birth which will be fantastic for the Club, fans and rugby league in Wales."
Crusaders will be looking to bounce back following last weekend's controversial defeat to Hull FC. A last-gasp Danny Tickle penalty denied Crusaders a hard-fought point at the KC Stadium. The visitors out-scored their opponents two tries to one, with Luke Dyer and Peter Lupton finding their way over the whitewash for the Welsh side.
The manner of the defeat left the players shell-shocked after the final whistle however the New South Wales prop says it has only made the team more determined to secure a maiden play-off spot.
O'Hara added: It was pretty shattering actually to lose in that manner. We did a lot of things wrong against Hull; we made a lot of mistakes and gave a few penalties away. But to hand in their like we did, against a big top four club, I think can be proud of ourselves and we can take a lot of positives into the Saints game.
"It was a physical game. They had four forwards on the bench so we knew they were going to be coming up the middle. We handled them quite well and it could have been a different game if we played a little bit smarter and kept our discipline.
"We played a top 4 team and went toe-to-toe with them. Hull are a real physical side and they had most of their players on deck. The conditions weren't the best so we take a lot from that. Hopefully we can build on that and give Saints a good game on Saturday. If we cut down on our mistakes we will certainly be in with a chance.
"You just have to deal with decision like that, it happens all the time in any sport. Sometimes you have back-to-back decision go against you and you just have to rise above it. You just have to shore up your defence and I thought we did that on the whole last week.
"We've been working on our ball control and looking at the footage to see where guys are going wrong. We will be more disciplined on Saturday and hopefully these things can help us match up against St Helens."
