Source: www.weststigers.com.auThe inaugural Tigers Ball held at Sydney Hilton tonight has seen Leo Nosworthy and Mark O'Neill inducted into the Balmain Tigers Hall of Fame.
Induction into the Hall of Fame is the Balmain Tigers highest individual playing honours. More than 400 people attended the Tigers Ball where past and present players joined officials, sponsors and supporters for a gala evening.
Nosworthy played in Balmain's 1948 grand final team and later coached Balmain to the 1969 premiership in his first season as first grade coach.
O'Neill played 223 premiership matches from 1994-2005 for Balmain Tigers and Wests Tigers. He was a member of the 2005 premiership winning Wests Tigers team.
"All I ever wanted to do growing up was to play for Balmain Tigers," O'Neill said.
"This is a tremendous honour."
Balmain Tigers Chairman David Trodden said both exemplify the spirit of the Tigers.
"Their names are synonymous with qualities of sportsmanship, courage, integrity and skill which are deeply ingrained within the spirit of the Club,'' Trodden said.

Source: www.leedsrugby.comTony Smith has recalled Mark O'Neill and Ali Lauitiiti to the Rhinos for the crunch Powergen Challenge Cup quarter final against Harlequins RL at Headingley Carnegie this Sunday, kick off 4:05pm.
O'Neill suffered a shoulder injury against Rochdale in the previous round of the Cup that forced him to miss last Friday's heroic 30-0 win over rivals Bradford Bulls. Lauitiiti was named in the initial 18 man squad for that match but missed out on selection for the squad on the night. However, like O'Neill he is expected to feature in the squad for Sunday's televised clash.
Great Britain international Ryan Bailey and second row Ian Kirke are the two players to miss out from the 20 man squad named earlier this week by Rhinos Head Coach Tony Smith as Leeds look to book their place in the semi final of the Cup for the 12th time in 14 seasons.
The 18 man squad in full is:
2. Scott Donald

4. Keith Senior
5. Lee Smith
