O'Neill and Lauitiiti return for Rhinos
Sat June 3, 2006
Source: www.leedsrugby.com

Tony Smith has recalled Mark O'Neill and Ali Lauitiiti to the Rhinos for the crunch Powergen Challenge Cup quarter final against Harlequins RL at Headingley Carnegie this Sunday, kick off 4:05pm.

O'Neill suffered a shoulder injury against Rochdale in the previous round of the Cup that forced him to miss last Friday's heroic 30-0 win over rivals Bradford Bulls. Lauitiiti was named in the initial 18 man squad for that match but missed out on selection for the squad on the night. However, like O'Neill he is expected to feature in the squad for Sunday's televised clash.

Great Britain international Ryan Bailey and second row Ian Kirke are the two players to miss out from the 20 man squad named earlier this week by Rhinos Head Coach Tony Smith as Leeds look to book their place in the semi final of the Cup for the 12th time in 14 seasons.

The 18 man squad in full is:

2. Scott Donald
3. Chev Walker
4. Keith Senior
5. Lee Smith
6. Danny McGuire
7. Rob Burrow
9. Matt Diskin
10. Jamie Peacock
11. Ali Lauitiiti
12. Gareth Ellis
13. Kevin Sinfield (c)
14. Shane Millard
16. Willie Poching
17. Mark O'Neill
18. Jamie Jones-Buchanan
19. Chris Feather
20. Nick Scruton
26. Danny Williams

Commenting on the return of O'Neill Head Coach Tony Smith said, "This week was always the timetabled return for Mark and it will be good for him to get a game under his belt. 1. James Endersby
2. Dale Harris
3. Nathan McAvoy
