Melbourne's Anthony Quinn with three tries has taken out the Round 5 NRL Player of the Week following in the footsteps of fellow flankers Sam Perrett and Brett Morris.

Quinn scored three tries in the first half of Melbourne's 20-16 loss against the Titans with the Storm up 16-4 at the break.

Big names that need to step up after disappointing Round 05 performances: Jamie Soward [Dragons], Peter Wallace [Broncos], Preston Campbell [Titans], Josh Morris [Bulldogs] and Braith Anasta [Roosters].

Tandy, Quinn to lead Storm against Brisbane

Premiership-winning prop Ryan Tandy and former State of Origin winger Anthony Quinn have today been named in a 21-man Melbourne squad to face Brisbane in Rockhampton on Saturday night.

Tandy and Quinn will headline Craig Bellamy's first Storm squad of the year that includes nine players with NRL experience as well as nine players from the Storm's 2009 premiership-winning NYC squad.

The trial, to be held at Browne Park, will act as a selection trial for the Storm squad, will several World Club Challenge berths still available.

"This is an important game for not only the development and progression of our squad, but also for the make-up of the squad that we take to England next Monday," said Bellamy.

"A few positions for the WCC squad remain up for grabs and this is the final chance for some of our players to make an impression."

Bellamy himself will an observer on the night and will hand over head coaching duties on the night to Storm development coach Tony Adam.

Adam joined the Storm as development coach at the end of 2008 - the same year he guided Canberra Raiders' NYC squad to that competition's inaugural premiership.

Storm depart for London on the Monday after the trial against the Broncos.

They will play a warm-up game against Harlequins at The Stoop, Twickenham, in London on February 22 (AEDT), before meeting Leeds Rhinos for the World Club Challenge at Elland Road on March 1 (AEDT).
