Source: www.crusadersrfl.comCrusaders have announced their 19-man squad to face Huddersfield Giants at the Racecourse Ground on Friday (KO 2PM).
Head coach Iestyn Harris has made several changes to the side that lost against Warrington Wolves last Friday.
Lincoln Withers is ruled out for two weeks after aggravating his hamstring against the Wolves.
Gareth Thomas and Ben Flower are rested, so Stuart Reardon and Jason Chan return to the squad after missing the Warrington match.
Young Welsh prop Gil Dudson is also added to the 19 to face the Giants.
Crusaders prop Mark Bryant will make a Super League record 61st consecutive performance if he plays against Huddersfield Giants on Friday.
And the Aussie prop is looking to bounce back following last week's disappointing display agaisnt Warrington.
"Preparations have been going really well," Bryant said.
"We have trained strongly and we want to make amends for what was a poor performance last week against Warrington. We want to turn our season around and build towards the big games we've got coming up over the next few weeks.
"The Warrington game was rock bottom for us. They are a classy side but to have that many points scored against us in one outing was very disappointing. A lot of us have been looking in the mirror this week and we realise we need to pull our fingers out and make something of this season.
"We need to be able to compete against the top sides and Huddersfield are top of the table at the moment. Friday's game will be a good test to see how far we have come.
"Huddersfield have been going good. They beat Leeds away last week and Warrington the week before. They are a really good team and they deserve their position at the top of the ladder. The best thing about rugby league is you can put things right in your next game and that is what we are aiming to do against Huddersfield.
"Easter is a tough period. It makes it tougher because we have drawn two really good teams but it is part of the game and part of Super League. We will do our best and as along as we are improving and putting in a lot of effort then the results will take care of themselves.
"I've been reasonably happy with my own form, but I am a firm believer that I can always do better. I don't think I will ever be completely happy at the end of a game because I always think there is stuff you can do to improve your own game. There are definitely things I could do better and as a team there are thigns we can do better. I am not unhappy with my form, but I am always looking to improve and play better."
