Source: www.dragons.com.auThe St George Bank Dragons will field several debutants for their clash against the Gold Coast Titans at WIN Jubilee oval, Kogarah this Friday after having six players selected for State of Origin duty.
Dragons Head Coach Wayne Bennett has named an 18-man squad for the encounter, highlighted by starts for both Toyota Cup player Alex McKinnon in the centre and Reece Simmonds on the wing.
"This week will be a good opportunity for several players who have been waiting to get their chance to wear the Red V jersey," said Dragons second-rower Jack Bosden.
"Everyone who trains in the squad understands their role and to go out there and play the best football they can.
"The Titans will be looking for the win and the two points so we will be on our guard come Friday night."
The reigning Premiers ran out 25-16 winners when both teams met in the opening round of the season.
