Source: www.bradfordbulls.co.ukBradford Bulls have today confirmed that Back Row Forward David Solomona damaged his Medial Ligament in yesterday's game against Wigan. The player was carried from the field but initial fears that he had damaged his Cruciate Ligament have proved unfounded after a Scan today.
Bulls Coach Steve McNamara said:
"Whilst it is disappointing both for the club and David himself we realise that it could have been a lot worse. These injuries are part and parcel of the game and like, other clubs who have suffered injuries in pre season; we will just have to manage with it. Dave will be missing for six to eight weeks and although he is a big loss to us we have a strong squad and I feel we are well equipped to cope with the situation."The Bull also confirmed that Semi Tadulala will have an operation tomorrow on a depressed fractured cheekbone and will be unavailable for six weeks.

Source: www.giantsrl.comIn form Giants star Jamahl Lolesi has highlighted Bulls ace David Solomona as a key threat to his sides chances in Sundays big west Yorkshire derby at the Galpharm stadium.
Speaking to
www.giantsrl.com Lolesi said:
"I have seen both in the NRL and over here what a great player David is and we will have to be on our guard against him at the weekend. The Bulls have points scorers across the park and will be tough opponents."Lolesi has spent the past few weeks in the Giants pack and is enjoying the change:
"I started here in the centres as Martin Aspinwall and then Shane Elford were injured but since Spud ( Elford ) has come back I've able to move up to the back row and am really enjoying it. There is more involvement in the pack and I am getting plenty of game time which has helped me settle into the new role."Lolesi is also relishing his Hammer title and is fast becoming a real fans favourite:
"Yeah the hammer thing started as a bit of a joke really but its great to see the Kids in the stands waving them about and having a good time. I was down at the clubs summer kids camp this week and there were plenty of youngsters around and the hammer knickname seems to have stuck with them. I just hope there are plenty more in the stands on Sunday as it's a big help to the team to have a big crowd following us."Inflatable Jammer the Hammers will again be given out to the first 400 child Giants fans entering the Galpharm Stadium.
Tickets for the eagerly anticipated clash are now on sale from the Galpharm Stadium Ticket Office which is open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 9am - 12 midday. Children Under 12 are free of charge and by pre-purchasing adult and concession tickets are cheaper. The Ticket Hotline is 0870 44 44 552.
