Source: www.hullfc.comHull FC will not appeal against the RFL's decision to impose a 100,000 pounds fine (40,000 has been suspended) on the club for fielding an ineligible player, Jamie Thackray, in their Carnegie Challenge Cup games against Rochdale Hornets and Widnes Vikings.
The club accepts last night's RFL Tribunal decision and chief executive James Rule said: "We accept the decision and we now want to draw a line under the situation and move on.
"Our focus is now on preparing for the clubs remaining engage Super League games, which includes an All Ticket derby game against Hull KR in a fortnight and a Challenge Cup semi final against Wakefield at the end of the month."
Hull will make no further comment.

Source: www.leedsrugby.comLeeds Rhinos and Jamie Thackray have mutually agreed to terminate the 28-year-old prop's contract and he will leave the club with immediate effect.
Thackray joined the Rhinos in 2006 from Hull FC on a three and half year contract. He played an integral part in the Championship winning campaign in 2007 when he featured in 27 games and scored 5 tries, but this season has been unable to break into the first team squad.
Commenting on the announcement Chief Executive Gary Hetherington said,
"Unfortunately things have not worked out for Jamie but we wish him all the best for the future."Meanwhile, Head Coach Brian McClennan has included prop Kylie Leuluai in his 19 man squad for this Friday's trip to St Helens however Lee Smith and Carl Ablett have both been ruled out.
Leuluai suffered a head injury in the Easter Thursday win over Bradford but has passed a Cogsport test to clear him to return to action.
Ablett and Smith have both suffered muscular strains that will not clear up in time for Friday's Grand Final repeat.
Youngster Ben Jones-Bishop has been drafted in to the squad as cover. The 19-year-old full back was a member of the Rhinos Senior Academy squad who reached the Grand Final last season and was recently promoted to the first team squad.
