Source: www.broncos.com.auPETER Wallace and Andrew McCullough will join Justin Hodges in making their returns from surgery when the Broncos play the Cowboys in a trial this Saturday.
The Broncos will travel to Hodges' home town of Cairns tomorrow night and train there Friday before heading to the match site of Alice Springs on Friday.
Hodges will play his first match for the Broncos since the 2009 preliminary final after sustaining a terrible Achilles tendon rupture the January before last.
And Wallace and McCullough both had shoulder surgery in the off-season, with the halfback also having an elbow procedure.
But all three have been named by coach Ivan Henjak and will see some game time.
Corey Parker will captain the side with the trio from last week's All Star game - Darren Lockyer, Ben Hannant and Jharal Yow Yeh - all having the week off.
Youngsters Jack Reed, Gerard Beale and Jordan Kahu all get their chance to post claims for a round-one berth in the outside backs.

Source: www.broncos.com.auNRMA Insurance Brisbane Broncos NRL stars Peter Wallace and Andrew McCullough will travel to central Queensland for the annual Australia Post Broncos Community Tour this week.
The players will be part of a large Brisbane Broncos' contingent that will travel to regional Central Queensland during the annual Australia Post Broncos Community Tour.
The 14th annual Australia Post Broncos Community Tour will kick-off in Rockhampton on Saturday 4th December and travel to Gladstone, Biloela, Banana, Moura, Springsure, Moranbah and Proserpine among several other communities.
During the seven day tour more than 2000 children will attend Broncos training clinics, learning first-class football skills from some of their sporting heroes.
A team of eight including league internationals Michael Hancock and Michael De Vere will be among the Broncos' touring party.
Both Wallace and McCullough will join the group in Rockhampton and Gladstone before returning to pre-season training in Brisbane on Monday.
Members of the public will also have the opportunity to meet their league heroes at a range of appearances at Australia Post outlets (details attached below).
"Australia Post is committed to fostering a healthy sporting attitude amongst the children of Queensland," said Sarah Brown, Sponsorship Manager Australia Post.
"We are proud to have sponsored The Broncos Community Tour, now in its 14th year, since its inception in 1996.
"After tours to North Queensland in the last few years, we are thrilled to see the tour returning to the central Queensland to give children a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet their footy heroes and the chance to write to their favourite Broncos player."
Broncos Game Development Co-ordinator Paul Dyer said the Broncos had always been committed to developing the game of Rugby League throughout Queensland.
"Although the emphasis will be on having fun and staying active, the kids will benefit from learning first class coaching tips and skills from current and past Broncos legends," said Dyer.
"The Broncos have a proud history and very loyal fans, some of which travel from country Queensland to attend games on a regular basis" said Broncos' Brand Manager Vicki Ciocca.
"Being Queensland's founding league team in the national competition, we still maintain the largest fan base throughout the state and continue to develop the game at every opportunity.
"The club has always been committed to recognising the efforts of our fans and realise that a majority are unable to make the long distances to meet their heroes in person.
"Tour and founding club sponsor Australia Post share a common goal with the Broncos in providing unique opportunities to youth and this is a way to reward our country fans.
"The Australia Post Broncos Community Tour has reached in excess of 30,000 Queensland children over the 14-year period. It has only been through the commitment from tour sponsor Australia Post that we have been able to bring these tours to regional Queensland."
